alot of people here in canada are talking about how global warming is changing the climate coz its been fairly warm down at toronto... aand how the icecaps in the north pole are melting away... I'm scared about how the earth is going to end up in the future and how it is gonna effect our lives.

It feels like our future is warped around this theory, that if it effected the earth just imagine how our form of life will be.

And we have done more than what the earth could do in 400,000 years, in less than 200 years, in contributing to the green house gases. Like if we continue what we are doing someting is bound to be wrong. and Besides wouldn't be better to change...?

First, 'worser' should be 'much worse'. There is no such word as worser.
Second, cooling cycles and warming cycles have been happening for a few million years. This is a fact. The words 'Global Warming' is a new and frightening pseudo-theory.
Third, mankind certainly is polluting the Earth. We will probably continue to do so, even though each of us as individuals may try in our own way, to be environmentally conscious.
Fourth, within your lifeting, you will not notice a lot of change.

Yes,.. we could very well easily destroy ourselves. People say the earth has been aroudn so long,. true,.. but we've only been seriously ******@ it up for the last 60 or so years with all the joyous goodness released into the atmosphere and crazy crap we have invented. I always wonder how good the air was a few thousand years ago, and how beautiful the earth must have looked before we started screwing it up...

Don't be afraid. The earth has been around looong before we showed up and has had to deal with much worse than dirty air. An asteroid obliterated all life on the planet once...we were able to live here after that.

Maybe we are scared, just because we haven't gone out screaming in horror doesn't mean we're not afraid.
