Is this question an example of a "spam" question?

Technically, it is a question, but it really doesn't ask for information. It's only selling religion.

Since it didn't give a web site to go to, it's a question. A Rhetorical one, but a question.

That guy saying

Did you know 9/11 was planned by Bush

You Tube Website Link Goes HEre

THAT's spam!

You obviously don't know what spam is. If it had popped up in your in-box, then yes. Posting it in question format in YA, definitely not. I read it, and it doesn't sound like she's "selling religion" to me. Actually, it sounds like she's attempting to be an encouragement to her fellow Christians and possibly wants feedback on what she's posted. This section IS titled Religion and Spirituality, is it not? People come to this section willingly. They are not forced to read or to respond.

So, if you don't agree with it, exercise your freedom, man, and move on!

It doesn't matter if it's spam in the marketting sense, if it's not a question or answer it doesn't belong here.
Unfortunately, although you are correct, the same can be said of your "question". Neither of them are actually using the site in its intended means. One is going "HEY EVERYONE WHO ALREADY BELIEVES WHAT I BELIEVE, COME COMPLIMENT ME!!!", the other is going "Hey, that's BS.", which, although correct, is still not what this site is for.

Well spam is a disruptive message posted on a computer network. I guess you could say it is spam.

Definitely spam. There doesn't have to be a profit motive.

People post on here all day long, mocking Jesus, saying horrible things about christians, stereotyping in mass quanities.

I have learned to just ignore the things that bother me, why can't you? Leave it alone.

Perhaps you are afraid of the truth?

It's not spam, because she's not selling anything for a profit. (For a prophet perhaps, but not for a profit.)

Try not to believe EVERYTHING you read. Treat unknown sites and people with the up-most caution.
