it would seem that with all the facts out there on global warming, people would come to their senses and not ignore the warning signs. Is it just me or are some people just brushing their shoulders off on this issue. I understand that some may look outside and see beautiful weather but what about the ice caps?

I have asked myself the same question many times and have come to the conclusion offered by the famous social scientist Carl Jung, "People can not cope with too much reality". Unfortunate, but true. Hopefully, more enlightened minds will prevail before it's too late, although the Bush administrations refusal to recognize climate change and sign the Kyoto Accord is not promising. He's the fist "anti-science president" in history.

Alot of the whole "global warming" issue is made up by Democrats because they need something to blame. I even heard on Fox News the other day that some scientists were paid to say that global warming was worse than it really is. Its not as bad as the liberal media says it is. They'll say anything to discredit Bush and this great nation.

No, it's not just you (otherwise it would be just me as well)...many of the people who brush the issue off know bloody damn well that global warming is a problem, but their livelyhoods are tied to industries that contribute to the problem....other people won't be convinced there is a problem until they get kicked in the groin with it. They will keep saying "No conclusive proof...need more evidence...climate change is a natural process (which it is, except this time, we humans are aggrevating it)," until the Global Superstorm hits...then they'll believe. (It's an involved concept...Google "Coming Globas Superstorm" to get an idea)

Other opponents of the concept of global warming all have their own reasons...the only thing they have in common is that they all have their heads firmly up their @$$e$.

It's just you.

The earth is going to do what it's going to do. Ice caps will melt and refreeze. Asteroids will obliterate all life on the planet and life will return. The earth has been around a looong time. We're not going to kill it.
