Is there a way to convert a PDF back to the original excel file w/o Acrobat professional? I'm an idiot and forgot to save my spreadsheet as an excel file and just created a PDF instead. I'm using Office 07.

Incase you are wondering how I created a PDF w/o Acrobat pro. There's a free converter w/o all the bells and whistles called CutePDF Writer.

They are offering a trial version of their PDF conversion software to and from PDF.

If you don't want to purchase the program, it will at least get you off the hook this time.

I know that, if you use the full adobe software, you can save an adobe file as text.

Once you have the text file, you can use microsoft word to turn it into a table, which you can then save as an excel file.
