I dare you to think on this...
Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." John 6:35
Just a reminder...
God has a perfect plan for you. I have to remind myself, no matter the situation, God will "bring beauty out of ashes." And it may seem like He's not there, but He is. He knows your troubles.
Ask Him why some things you wish never happened - or still are happening - in your life. And then wait. A still voice - His voice - will answer.

Thats the very reason I have peace of mind. I know that no matter how bad things look, God will take care of it all in the end.

Very beautiful post. God Bless and thanks for sharing. :)

There were many people in the Bible who were seemingly in a hopeless situation yet the Lord was in control of their circumstances. Consider the story of Joseph who was the youngest of 12 brothers and being the youngest he was the fathers' favorite. His brothers despised him and sold him into slavery where he was taken to a strange land and later falsely accused and thrown into prison where he languished away for years and wondered how on earth the Lord could have been in control of his circumstances. All the while he was completing God's plan as during his long stay in prison he would have learned the Egyptian language which was essential for the task which the Lord had ahead for him. One night the Pharaoh of Egypt had a dream which troubled him and he could not be given an interpretation of the dream but one of his servants remembered that Joseph had correctly interpreted his dream whilst he was in prison and he told the Pharaoh. Joseph was summoned to appear before Pharaoh who told him his dream and Joseph correctly interpreted the meaning of the dream which was sent to Pharaoh as a warning of what was to come. It seems that Joseph had spent about 13 years in prison and the Lord kept him there until the time was right for his release. Pharoah accepted the meaning and places Joseph in charge of all food storage and told joseph that he was a great as himself in all things but only in the throne was he greater. The famine which came was upon the entire world and the Lord used Joseph to provide physical salvation to the entire world in this way. Prior to his release from prison Joseph would have thought that the Lord had forgotten all about him and that he would eventually die there as well but for them who are trusting the Lord he always delivers them from what appears to be a hopeless situation.

jesus isn't a person in the bible, Jesus is actually just a word. only wise people can able understand the meaning of the bible statements. there is no a god image in the truth, it just been written to be understood easily by men, through visualization or materialization. but even when you follow it, you still couldn't understand what you are doing. because you aren't wise enough. and its still wasn't enough. until you become wise.

Okay, I tried it. I accepted Jesus the "bread of life" and I prayed. But I'm still hungry! And I'm getting thirsty too. Is Jesus going to order me a pizza? I'm not hearing that "still voice" either - just the rumbling of my stomach.

Update: I finally had to give up and make myself some soup. So much for "He who comes to me will never go hungry."

Sorry. If someone doesn't believe in that bunk it is gonna be kinda hard to think on it. Oh, by the way it's 2007 now. Isn't it time you started believing in yourself and not your imaginary friend.

I used to pray and ask God to fix things in my life. But all that ever did was make me feel helpless and depressed. I thought I was talking to God, but he never talked back, so I concluded that I was just talking to myself. Nowadays, I find fixing my own problems and getting help from other people to be a much more effective life strategy.

God has always taken care of me - my needs were always met. And when I start to worry about what Might happen I remind myself that He has always been there and will always take care of me so what am I worrying about - I thank God for his care and love and get on with my life.

Many fail to realize is that God ALWAYS answers prayers. The answers are YES NO or WAIT. Everything is done in God's time. It may not even be in your lifetime, but be assured, God will, or already has, answered your prayers. You just have to be in tune with Him enough to recognize the answer He's given you.
