Everyone (even the guys) tell me I'm pretty and cute, even though I'm so tall it's ridiculous and I have nothing up top. I've got a 4.0, I'm a runner, but I'm still just the girl next door. I'm a little shy, but I still try and talk to them, maybe flirt a little...but nothing ever happens. EVER. I'm almost done with high school-haven't been kissed, haven't been on a date, haven't even slowdanced at homecoming. Am I intimidating, or just too shy, or not pretty enough? I'm at a pretty big school-you'd think there'd be 1 guy who'd be interested. Just wondering on your opinions...and if you've got any suggestions on anything that'd help me...well...get a guy.

Do you have friends who are guys? Guys you you hang out with one-on one? You may not know it but whether they already have a girlfriend or not they have a crush on you. That's the way boys operate. Friendship and attraction is different for girls but it's the same thing for straight guys. They might hide it out of shyness, but they feel it, believe me.
It's pretty darn rare for a straight guy to hang out with you one one one as a friend and not have some sort of mild crush. That's the way boys are wired.
When you go to school tomorrow, give all those "guy friends" a second look, you may be surprised by what you find!

High school guys can be pretty lame. Maybe it is that you are shy, try being just a friend first. You never know the guy that likes you could be just as shy as you are.

well high school dating is pretty lame. is overated. just dont worry about it too much. just be yourself. after high school then starts the real dating game. good luck
