how do you attach wedding ribbon to a car??

For my wedding, I centred the ribbon on the front of the bonnet (hood) and then back each side to the inside top of the front windows.
I fastened it by bringing it through the jam of the door and tying it to the hand holds that you usually have on the roof.
You could also loop the ribbon through a rod or similar and use the door jam to hold it tight.

I am assuming you are talking about the going away caar and not the one to come to the wedding in! I wouldn't do much to the one that you drive up in, simple is best and the most classy!
Use tons and make it stand out! Attach the ribbon by tying it to anything that will hold it: the antenna, the front grill, the door handles, roll the windows down enough to stick it out then roll them back up to hold it in place, same goes with the trunk, stick it out of the trunk then close it to hodl them in place! Tie them around the fenders, bumpers, hubcaps, etc! Anywhere that it looks like you can tie to, tie it! Make sure it isn't going to rain that day or be very humind, colors can run! If it is a chance, make sure oyu get ribbon that the colors will not run in weather! You don't want to be paying your friend back after they made a nice gesture for you!
Congrats! Also, try car chalk, it comes in tubes like shoe polish does, but is made for car windows, so it won't mess anything up! And it comes in bright vibrant colors!

None unless you are absolutely sure that it won't come off. Ribbons and things flying off your car when you're driving will add to polution and possibly cause birds or other creatures to choke. Do you really want to be driving off in a car that is a danger to animals? If you absolutely must decorate your car, use just a little bit of well secured ribbon/decoration. Otherwise, it just looks trashy.

Use as much as you would like, it can look as crazy as you want, you can find at almost any wedding stores will have the special tape that you use, you dont want to use any tape because it might scratch the car. You could use the just clear tape scotch tape. You can also find places to just tye the ribbon as well.

never used ribbon..... shaving cream on the windows, tin cans tied to the back bumper, ummmm and stuff put in the air system, like talcolm powder...... from TEXAS here, we do crazy stuff to let the whole world know !!!!!!! ROFL !!!! Sardines on the motor !!!!!! God bless
