Is it possible that the type of guys you are attracted to, are not attracted to the type of girls like you?

Absolutely! I have picked three men in a row that were not my type and stupidly let them use me until it finally dawned on me that I deserved better than what I was getting.Just because you like them doesn't mean they like you.Or that you are right for each other.

Yes, I think so. opposites always attract!! The guy I am with now, I went to high school with, and we both over looked each other back then. Definitely get to know the person, find some way to talk and if the feeling is there, it has nothing to do with looks or standards. i think :-) talk is always the first step right??

Yes. I have loved a man for five years now, and I know that nothing will ever happen between us. He is very smart and quiet. We were raised in completely different households. His family is happy and successful, whereas mine fell apart and has alcoholism. We reflect these differences in upbringing, and drama tends to follow me wherever I go. I know he isn't attracted to who I am and will marry a woman raised much the way he was.

It happens, and it sucks, but you accept and love who you are and move on. Somewhere out there is a person that will find you perfect for them, and you will reciprocate the feeling.
