I'm an atheist but a Muslim friend gave me a head scarf (I forget the actual name for head gear) from his trip for haj . So I don't think it is a dis but a compliment your reason might not be completely the same but your respect can be honored by at least some . although I don't have beliefs in the supernatural I agree on most all the moral that would goe with his Muslim faith as he explains it . Evidently there are some very modern Muslims in their beliefs .
peace out

In fact I will be very happy to see a non-Muslim lady wearing a Hijab. I will respect her as a religious minded lady.
Hijab should not be made an issue. Muslim women used to pray in Mosque along with male standing in the last row behind children. Tribal customs are not part of religion.

All three Abrahamic religions practice hijab, they may not call it that, but they do. Orthodox Jews, Catholic nuns, even the Virgin Mary wore the headscarf or hijab.
So no, a Muslim would not find it offensive, unless of course they were ignorant...

NOO!!! Of COURSE not, silly ;)!! Everyone has the freedom of choice; do it all you wish! You know, that could even encourage those Muslims who DON'T wear to start doing so! It has a lot of benefits :D.
Peace and blessings be upon you!

If i met a non-Muslim who covered, i would just believe that they too are devout to God and I would honestly think they were special. I would just probably say, I cover too! And i would be very intrigued and curious. I would want most likely ask her to share her wisdom with me; the first impression I would get is that she is very spritual and I would probably observe them or befriend them for more enlightment.
Not in a crazy way though....

Of course not. Head scarf is not a symbol of Islam, its a symbol of modesty which is not bound to any religion.

Interesting question. I wonder what if a Rabbi wore a cross? I think there are some boundary issues in religion but scarves are not one of them unless you should forget to wear it!

Not at all... i think we would be happy...
Because women are suppose to respect themselves... i would probably marry a woman that does that if she has that belief in her heart...
It's about covering your beauty so no man can drull on you... and love you for your personality and faith

Not at all , they have right to do what they like to do , it is a symbol of respect and it is a healthy habit as well !! I can't prove that now but it is right .after all , every step of striping any piece of cloth was driven by devil or a devil-like person !!
