So What can I do about having grose psoriasis on my scalp? it itches and flakes, and is rather embarrassing. I don't want to use chemicals, and I've already tried the shampooos that claim to be for psoriasis, so do you have a cure? I guess there is no CURE, but do you know of anything that will work or ease it up? also my hair is very dry! I am so embarrased that I don't want to go for a haircut! I don't want the hairdresser to be grosed out. is there any natural way's to get rid of , or at least help out with psoriasis of the scalp? Thanks.

get a bottle of emu oil, let it soak into your head ,put a plastic head cover over your head if your going to sleep. Wake up and shower as normal. Also if you have it on other body parts you can pour some into your bath water and just soak for as long as you can. Its expensive but from what I here its good on all skin conditions. It gets rid of what doesn't belong and brings the skin back to its normal condition. This is a natural product not a chemical.

Oh, baloney. Quit flipping out. I've had psoriasis my entire life, and you think hairdressers are so immature they get grossed out by a few flakes? Gimme a break.

1. Use Neutrogena T-Gel together with T-Sal. I don't care if they stink and you think they're not working. They'll work if you use them regularly.
2. Use tea-tree shampoo.
3. You can get a liquid steroid solution by prescription to put on your scalp.
4. Buy a flea comb (like for a cat) and comb those patches on your scalp once in a while to get rid of the tiny flakes. I'm so serious. Flea combs are wonderful. My dry patches, for example, are worst around my ears, so I just comb every once in a while or if I'm having a sort of breakout. Don't overcomb or you'll irritate the skin more.
5. Go to a tanning bed more often. Sunlight is the best thing for psoriasis of all kinds.
6. Try fish oil/cod liver oil supplements. These types of oils are super for the skin.

Cure psoriasis starting today - even if your doctor or dermatologist says "it's impossible!"
I've just followed a guide called psoriasis free for life that completely cured me of this debilitating and embarrassing disease in less than a month!
Remember, this will not only treat the symptoms that you do see:
the red, inflamed itchy skin.
The silvery scales that seem to erupt for no reason.
The burning or bleeding that occurs around your joints.
The cracking, oozing and painful patches on your skin.
But it also treats the underlying cause of psoriasis - the part you don't see - the actual immune system deficiency that causes these itchy patches to appear and scale over.

You can definitely get back your life, your confidence and your self esteem!

I am an elementary school teacher. Last year I had them for three or four months. It was awful and I can certainly relate to your sisters frustration. I tried the over-the-counter remidies. They would kill the bugs but not the eggs. So my mom would treat me again the next weekend. This went on for months. Then in desperation I ordered some lice shampoo off the net. I had to go through two cycles with it, but that was the only thing that worked. The shampoo was chemical loaded. during my desperate search for a way to get rid of the lice I also went to my dr. She gave me a rx, but by the time it was filled the shampoo had killed everything. The dr. did say that even the rx had chemicals in it. Can't locate the site where they sold the lice shampoo. Good luck

Home remedies are the lowest cost treatments for dealing with psoriasis. More often than not, they are all-natural cures and won’t harm you with harsh side-effects. Not all results work for all people and it may take trying a few different remedies to find one that works for you.
