That's what my boyfriend did last year on Valentine's. ♥

Very sweet. I loved it.
We were friends for a long time before that. And we always rhymed to each other online. It was just our thing. And to have him ask me out rhyming? Well, it was really touching. : }

So. I say go for it!

Yes it is good, whether she is or isn't into poetry. It's the thought that counts and if she likes you she will say yes even if it wasn't great. I did it and now I'm married to that person. So trust me. And good Luck.

It is a good way but only if she is into poetry and depends on the poem you don't want something sappy.

depends on the girl. does she like poetry? then if she does then maybe she'll think it's sweet and go out with the guy.

Not really hey, i would run a mile if someone tried that. If she likes poetry rather write it down for her.

If by "girl" you mean "gay dude", then yes, poetry is fine. If not, then no.

Just go up to her, put her hand on your crotch, and say "My friend here wanted to shake your hand and ask you out. Then maybe get a kiss at the end of the night."

It will work.

Not for me! Unless it was really silly and cheesy - and it was meant to make me laugh. Then I'd go out with him.
