I'm not sure what you are asking, but I'll answer it as this...
Are you annoyed because men are rude/afraid of/teasing you about your height?
That is a common thing among men, mostly those with more balls than brains.
Remember that men think they are MEN!!! Most men still have the "Me Tarzan, You Jane!" attitude towards women. Especially men that are tall. Until a man matures, usually around 30-25 years of age, they can't think past there own phallus. Some shorter men are the worst because they want to look down at a woman, not up. And those that really love a taller woman are the shy men.
What you really need to consider is not height, but what you really want in a relationship.
People are so concerned about image, that they miss the point altogether.
Does it really matter who is taller?

You are tall, embrace it. I'm under 5', so I have the opposite problem. There are plenty of tall guys out there & I'm sure you have a ton of stuff going for you. Be the best you can be & you will draw only postive things into your life, no matter what your height. i don't think your friends are saying anything bad to you. as far as intimidating, i got that napoleon complex down to a science. men find strong women intimidating, no matter what their height it. put on those high heels & strutt your stuff!!!

Tall girls are great.. if they're worth the climb. You're just a little bit taller than average is all. If guys ask if you play basketball, say no, you're a jockey and your horse is HUGE!

No that ain't tall. The thing is why if a women is short she ends up with almost basket player type lengths??-LOL or maybe that's just me. They say what short people lack in length, they make up in personality-LOL
