Sometimes people raise money at health fairs. You can have carnivals, also to raise money. Get kids troop together for bake sale. Since it is about child mortality, whenever someone buys somehting, give them a small card with a thank you and a saying about life on it. You can set up a booth at a health fair, disciminating info, selling or asking for donations. Even if you had the penny bank, as suggested before, at the health fair or carnival would target a large audience at one time. If hcildren can help, they can also put on a talent show and raise money that way. People will want to know where the money is going, so be specific.

yes go and collect pennies, and only pennies, ask for any pennies that they might have. or sell an egg yes that's right sell an egg, if I tried to sell you one egg for a quarter would you buy it as well as keep its not very likely, you would give me the quarter and give me the egg to sell again so that I could raise money for my cause. The penny collection was started by a little girl and her dad, she raised over 180.00 dollars in her apartment building, so they went out and did a block, the amount was in the thousands because no one keeps pennies other than they just seem to add up. So if you have enough people with enough jars collecting pennies with a small letter explaining your reason for the collection you can not lose, you can and will take larger donations , but you only ask for pennies
