All the time. That's the primary argument that Evangelicals use against atheism - although they never use the term "nihilism."

And I hate the f****** Eagles.

user-friendly, Atheism bargains with the life of God, an atheist is a man or woman that believes there is no God or lacks the be counted on a God, only that. Now, Nihilism bargains specially with the meaning and the purpose of existence. From the nihilistic aspect of view existence is unnecessary, there is no purpose morality, properly you get the point also a nilist man or woman might want to have self assurance that there is a author they only imagine we haven't any moral criminal responsibility to worship it. F. Nietzsche became an atheist yet he quite criticized Nihilism heavily.

I knew someone who confused Atheism with Nihil Armstrong.

Perhaps too often but a logical approach to life can lead to healthy nihilism because I stop hating, I stop being self-righteous, I stop living in fear, etc...

I've always been confused by that. Atheism is belief in the world as it exists. Religion is a fantasy, it is a belief in somehting that does not exist, that is to say it is belief in nothing.
The world exists all around us and I believe in it. Religion is the real nihalism.

True, I suppose.

Atheists believe in no God.

Thus if an Atheist is NOT a Nihilist, then they potentially have some type of belief system or, to put it another way, they have a RELIGION.

awww garfield, it's not our fault.... i think all us "anti-theists" started out as mere atheists. but, with all of the christianity and other religion being pushed down our throats by the conservatives on tv, all of our co-workers, our family members, friends, and not to mention all the wonderful people of Y!A, who constantly remind us that we're going to hell.... we just can't take it anymore. not that i actually do anything with my new religion of mine... but, i still blame those darned theists for pressuring to turn my simple lack of belief into a definite dislike for such a thing.
