I just found out about it. What can you tell me about the program? How well does it handle as an antivirus program? Where do I get it? Does it cost anything?

I want to hear the good and the bad. Thanks

Also, does this program slow down your comptuer like Norton does? I just installed Norton and it has slowed everything on my laptop.

Buy norton first when your subsription expires..then use AVG for free like I am doing...Norton is the best..it blocks most attacks..and if you get a virus it alerts you, and removes it!

AVG is a good anti virus program. It has a nice interface and several options, like e-mail scanning. You can get it free from http://free.grisoft.com and use it for as long as you want (no trial period) or you can buy the professional version

Sorry to have to disagree with some here.....but I've had just about all of them on my computer. And we have found that AVG is the best for us. You can get it online...and after the trail peroid..it's still only 15 a year...and that includes updates.
