I am a 22yr old college sr and I have been wanting to date several different black girls since I was like 15. I am attracted a lot more to them than I am white girls. I am really cool with a lot of them and have a ton more black friends and have all of my life. I have been wanting to bc I really don't see any differences really other than skin. However, everyone tells me that, because of culture, there's a lil difference. I'm not really sure that this is true. A lot of my black (guy) friends have told me that I might get dirty looks and her family may not be ok with it at first either. What do you think? I am just trying to follow my heart, live for me, and be happy.

Following you heart can get your heart broken, but it's worth the risk right? Don't be discourage by "dirty looks." As a black female, I know my family would not support any other relationship other than with someone of the same skin. BUT guess what! I'm in an interracial relationship... I don't care what my family thinks of it. And my bf should not either. So if she does not care, why should you? Think of all the times the world has disapproved of something you have done. They'll get over it! Good luck!

I am a white woman who likes dark males and one thing I can tell you just be your self. Don't change your ling or anything like that.The woman will love you because your you.Though learn about all woman of color.And people will look at you funny know matter what ,in this day in age it kills me to see that whites and blacks and spanish and any color people still have such a hard time about it.Though thats thier problem. Black men and woman have struggled so many years ago so that we can come together and I'm not gonna let looks bother me or my kids.Right now my oldest is going through racial slurs at school.Also thier calling her fat.She's 12 she's part cuban and has health problems.Now when she was in a city school never a racial slur,or a fat comment. Now were in the suburbs and it's the white girls I'm so ashamed to say.This world Is really not changing it's just more quiet about it ya know.But one thing you live to be happy and to hell with the rest of whom that that doesn't bless your happiness.God made us all he didn't say we had to stay separate from each other if were a different color,crazy.Follow your heart and be happy for all those that don't know how!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GOD BLESS YOU

you have very just about lined the entire element your self yet as you stated your self do not stereotype. Heck Black human beings often stereotype themselves. Like each thing else there are situations the place non of it fairly is proper. often its whilst a individual of any colour is wealthy and holds an excellent job and has what every person needs purely because of the fact whites in good shape that classification greater is the reason curiously that blacks or the different race would not seem to degree up!

Do just that--follow your heart. Sure there's a huge "might" as far as the stares go, but hopefully you'll find someone with friends and family who are a little more mature about the situation. Besides it's 2007...As long as you make her happy & treat her right, the rest shouldn't phase em. Good luck! :-)

there is nothing wrong with how you feel if you want to date
black girls then go for it, there are things that people will say
regardless of who you date, but it about you being happy not
what society think. if you are a strong young man then it show

new generation is normal now.... in Malaysia we have alot of skin colors... 3-4 types... Chinese, Malay, Indian..... for last generation ... all old people will be had a funny look when saw a couple in different races.... now ..... totally different.... what u want to mix..... Chinese with Malay,Malay with Indian,Indian with Chinese, or Chinese with Malay with Indian............. don`t care about other people thinking. if u feel right just do it...
