Seems a bit weird if they don't,since we're doing just the same as other animals and plants i.e. finding the most suitable partners with which to reproduce,dying out then letting nature continue with the next generation.Kind of odd if we're the only ones privileged to have gods,or did we just make the whole damn thing up?

Some rather clever people just made the whole damn thing up.
A total fabrication by those who needed to provide that which was needed by the under-educated and to give them hope; to ease their inabilty to cope with the reality of life and their desperate conditions..

2 goldfish in a bowl.
1st goldfish says to 2nd goldfish "Do you belive in God?".
2nd goldfish says "Don't be stupid, there's no such thing as God".
1st goldfish says "Explain that huge thing that drops food in here then"
Or something like that. it's very old and many years since I last heard it, but I feel sure that there's a "God" out there that can give you the right version.

Mostly made up. Humans created religion for the need of salvation. They felt they were missing something in their lives, and they found it. Salvation by a God.

mmm I can't recall man being able to communicate with otherlife forms on his own planet nevermind find out if they have anyspiritual beliefs or needs so to assume we are the only ones that believe in god(s) would be as narrow minded as our inter species communication skills

The animals believe in God... otherwise they wouldn't abide by the Law of creation and start destroying each other... only men has the freedom to choose bettween good and evil... most seem to choose evil... and some ask forgiveness... very few are pious, and all sinned or made mistakes...

Other animals are too 'smart' i.e. they know that living is more important than worrying about an imaginary creator. Maybe they know more than we do....
