There are 5 ways we gather knowledge.

(1) Due to Honor or Respect to the Source (Conviction)
(2) Will (Liking)
(3) Listening (an agreement through pondering views)
(4) Logical thinking (reasoning by analogy)
(5) Belief (unbroken tradition)

But 'Realization' supersedes all these 5. It then becomes your own experience and not a blind belief. No one can change you after that. Until then, any one can change you to any ideology.

You know when your mind is free from doubt when you stop doubting.

I sometimes still doubt. I guess I always will. But its not really doubting its a more questioning. Don't be afraid to ask questions!!! Questions make you more intellegent and make you stronger in whatever belief you have!

it is not possible, only when you know the Truth of something, then you'll be free from doubt. you'll cease to believe once you have the Truth. no more arguments, no more questions. simply peacefulness.
DO YOU STILL BELIEVE IN THE SUN? DO YOU STILL BELIEVE IN THE AIR? people don't talk about it anymore, they are in peace in that sense.

When you would sacrifice all for it. Reputation, Riches, your very life.
Anyone who would do less knows not what belief is.

Examples: The 12 Disciples of Christ. All but one died a Horrible Death by Torture for what they believed.

President George W. Bush. Risking a Vilified Legacy, He disregards His own personal reputation to fight terror while being surrounded by Passivists.

Protesting in the streets of a Country where blood was shed for your right to do so is far from impressive, there is no risk in doing so.

You will never stop doubting. If you believe in something you will never stop asking questions. But questions are a o.k. Its how you learn.
