If you're Mormon? I doubt it. If you're my kid? Welcome aboard, Nancy.
I'm just kidding about the Nancy part. As a Christian and a father, I would have no problem accepting both my son and his 'friend.'

I don't have children yet, but I do have an acquaintance who I respect almost as if he were a brother, who decided years ago that he thinks he is not heterosexual. He is a very talented poet, and I would invite him to future family or poetry related events. However, if he were my son, and if he came home from another state to visit, I would not want him sleeping in the same room as his "partner" or whatever the going phrase is, because I believe it would invite the wrong kind of spirit into the home. In other words, I would still support the person in all of their neutral, creative endeavors, but I would not support or facilitate anyone's breaking the law of chastity. If you ever read the Proclamation on the Family, you would see that we believe that marriage will always and forever be defined as between a man and a woman. Hope that makes sense.

Why not...I mean you are suppose to love all, and regardless of the fact that you are for or agents it, you are going to have to accept the fact that your son is homosexual, and chances are he is going though a hard time, and he is going to need you, and I guarantee that although it may not show it, he will be proud to call you his parent.

how can you help lead them to repentance if you reject them? Remember, we need to show people the love that God gives us
