is it normal for little boys to have an erect penis?

I work at a daycare and there is one little boy who is 2 years old and everytime i change him he seems to have an erect penis. Is this normal?

It is very normal. At this age, the little boy's penis gets erected if something rubs up against it...it has nothing to do with sex. Sometimes, the penis gets erect when the little boy is trying to pee!!!

Totally normal! I have two boys. The first time I saw that happen, I was worried, then my husband explained, its perfectly normal, it can happen from having to pee, from feeling good, or from just the cool air. Whatever you do, don't act like its strange in front of him, you wouldnt want to embarrass the poor wee guy. Hope you find the answer you are looking for! Oh and also, babies can have erections in utero! you can often see it on an ultrasound.

Yep, it's normal. Boys can have an erection for a few different reasons like the other answerers mentioned. Infant boys can get an erection. It's not sexual in nature, and boys will not have an erection with ejaculate until they reach puberty.

Yes it is very normal. He is having the reaction to the movement of the diaper and the wipes. It isn't anything sexual from him. He doesn't know what it is. But I have heard/read that boys can pleasure themselves at a very early age. Not specifically knowing what they are doing but that it feels good.

yes when the air hits it or he has to pee it will get hard its just what happens , i have 4 boys and when they are erect in the morning or when air hits it he tells them to go to the bathroom .
