When there is a crime, or a possible crime, do you find it helpful when a regular citizen calls you with facts that are helpful, or does it make you suspicious of their reasons for helping you?

i dont think its really a sixth sense. its more of a person being really observant and reading others well. along with being intuative.

I'm sure they've had enough calls to know when to weed out the weirdos with pretty good certainty. They have a pretty good grasp on who to take seriously and who not to.
You can tell on Yahoo Answers who is asking a serious question and who is screwing around for the most part, can't you.
I would imagine it's pretty much the same deal.

Check out Psych on the USA network. That's what "psychics" really are. Minus the humor and with a healthy dose of arrogance thrown into the mix, of course.
