Many people feel lonely at night. Its that time where you have nothing but your thoughts to keep you company. A puppy can make that feel better. It will take your mind off of being lonely, you will have to care of him and he will love you unconditionally. He can even sleep in your bed if you want, whats better then a cute puppy warming your bed? And maybe while your spirits are lifted you can maybe try to meet someone, you know taking your dog to a dog park can help you meet alot of people, or even just walking him can help you met people. So yes a i think a dog can help you alot. Here are some links about dogs and where you can get one.

A puppy might fix it......But puppies take A LOT of time and effort and grow into dogs that aren't always so cute and cuddly anymore. Why are you lonely? What activities or new hobbies could you take up? When my husband works evenings (about 3 per week) I get quite lonely even though we have an 18 month old daughter. We have music one night, swimming another, and I've just signed up for a parenting class. These are helping me battle evening loneliness and I am sure you could find some activites to participate in that would help. However if you truely want a dog and all the responsibility that comes with it, by all means get a dog!

A Dog can be a lot of company and help you to keep from being so lonely. They need lots of care but they give you lots of love. After awhile they even act like they know what you are thinking. A cat can be good company as well. I have 3 dogs. when i decided that i would never try to live with my ex husband i got a little 5 week old male puppy and fed him goat milk mixed with baby formula. He was way to young but they were being given away and i figured we would do the best we could with each other when he was a baby he was so small that i used a wash cloth for his little blanket and had to take him to the bath room to make sure he used it for awhile but i had no trouble house breaking him. A puppy needs to be 8 weeks old to do real well. I thought he may be lonely so i got him a little brother who out grew him. Now i have one that is 5 months old (Babe Sissy)and it has took a while for us to bond but she loves me they all do but i really would not have time for a man now with my dogs and cats. Something killed one of my cats and another one showed up. At least with my animals i know that they will stay with me as long as they can and they appreciate my love.Somehow they all get attention so i don't feel alone. They seem to be happy. They like their blankets. I tryed the body pillow thing and it was o.k. for awhile but it can't make you laught or snuggle with you. As far as sex I figure the darn thing can just grow shut for all i care! If i ever meet a man i want i guess he will just have to be my pet! I noticed one thing and that is that the only men i have any interest at all is in a picture with his dog.

More than likely. But what about the daytime? Puppies need to have attention paid to them constantly, not just at the owner's convenience. Your better bet would be to get a cat...they can sense when YOU need attention, and they can also tell you which shoes are ugly by hacking up a hairball into them. A companion and a fashion consultant all in one...go with the kitty.

A puppy wiggles and whines, then wakes you up, or worse pees on you or the floor...Take some advace from a divorcee. Just get a body pillow. Lie it next to you in bed and throw your knee over one side..comforts and relaxes. No replacement for a man but at least it doesn't wake you up at night.

Perhaps. Premarital sex won't do the trick, may be physically stimulating, but will leave you spiritually empty. I would read one of the Gospels. That always makes me feel loved and accompanied. Well hope you find your solution. Have a good night.

Actually, yes, it can help. Unlike a boyfriend, a housepet will usually provide its owner with unconditional love, and can also help to give its owner a sense of satisfaction and a reason to live.
