Phil 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but through prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
This verse comes with a promise - give your worries to God and He will give you peace (you notice He does not say He'll fix everything). I go to this verse every time I feel worried - worry does nothing for us, except cause health and mental problems - do what you can and leave the rest up to God!

Psalm 32:1-2
1Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
lets me know that there is a chance (small though it may be) that i might just get though this place and get to keep the doors of the kingdom.

Here's one of my favorites:
Jonah 2:8,9--
"But those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs. But I, with a song of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed, I will make good. Salvation comes from the Lord."
But, I love this one too--
"To those who are perishing, God's Word is foolishness. But to us who are saved, God's Word is power."
This one is awesome though too!--
"The righteous will live by their faith."
Ooh, but this one is the BOMB as well...--
"Therefore; these three remain: faith, hope, and love. And the greatest of these is love."
But this one is so cool too!--
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness."
But... the choices are endless. I love them all. Why? They are truth! I can't live without them! Why do I love water? It keeps me alive! How does it apply to my life? How does water apply to your life? It keeps you alive, it makes me live with a "song of thanksgiving."
