Okay. This has been happening for a few years...(I think, or I just started noticing it a few years back) but if I (sometimes) stand up/sit up, I black out (usually only for 5-10sec) but sometimes it gets worse....like, my vision won't come back and anything I'm holding falls the the ground, and then I end up falling to the ground....I'm also pretty sure I've had a seizure once. (Lots of uncontrolled, big shaking, during a blackout). I've told my parents this, but they don't seem to be very concerned...they've said they're going to take me to a doctor a few times but never have...I'm starting to get worried. Does anyone know what this could be? I'm only 14, I eat pretty healthy/regularly, exercise...I think I started noticing it when I was either 11 or 12 years old. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Oh, I also sometimes lose my hearing for a while. During blackouts, and sometimes when I'm not blacking out. Not sure if that has anything to do with blacking out, but yeah...just in case.

If your parents won't take you to the doctor, try seeing the school nurse. Maybe he or she can do something to make your parents take you to see a doctor.

Do your ears ring after? Do you feel really wobbly, like you have no balance at all? Do your eyes fade out until you can no longer see?

I get it all the time, it's the loss of blood to the brain from standing up to quickly. The body can't react to the change in your body height, your BP goes down and blood can't reach.
Stand up and sit up more slowly.

It's also more prone to happen if you're low on iron or if you're low on blood sugar.

Get up slower, that's what my doc told me

you should probably see a doc just in case.
