MEN...Why dont you like to date tall women?

Question

I am five foot ten and 130 pounds. I will always get the looks but nothing more. Then I will see a tall guy (six two or more) with an inredibly short women, like five two..what gives???
Are men just turned off by height in a women, are there any men who would rather date a tall women like me?
I feel left out!!!

and how exactly do you figure being the taller one in a relationship makes you more of a man?
Unless you have like a serioulsy tiny dick then I guess you would want a child size women, so you look bigger.
I have 2 six two guys and they told me they loved my height and they were very confident men.

Sweetie, you asked the question and people answered. If guys like your height and have no problem with it then why are you asking why men don't like tall women. If you think about it, tall women are a turn off because they look manly. Nothing really looks good on them. If you are tall and skinny, you look like a pole or a stick..If you are tall and fat, you look like a refrigerator. If you are tall and normal weight, you look intimidating and like a "man".

You call petite girls "dime a dozen".. Well, guess what honey, they are the ones getting GUYS. Why? because thats how it's suppose to be.. e.g movies..media..television..magazines..books..Thats how it's always been presented! Women are suppose to be hourglass, small, petite, soft and beautiful while men are suppose to be big, strong and courageous (hard core)..you know the whole idea of women being vulnerable and men protecting them.

Come on, you can't be that dumb!

It just looks better this way. Petite women, big strong men. Tell me, HOW can a man feel big and strong if the women is bigger/taller than him? He can't. Thats like a role reversal.

Sorry but this is how life is..I am sure there are many men out there willing to go out with a big beautiful women (it happens all the time).. Just give it time. You'll find him!

But for now, stop denying, start accepting these hard core facts.

I'm about 5'6", so I prefer a short-er girl, personally. One that is alot taller than me (or more than a few inches) would make kissing awkward and such. From a psychological standpoint, men feel emasculated when a girl is taller then them, because they're supposed to be "the ones on top", and a taller girl kind of takes that away that feeling (plus the whole "aww, look how cute she is" feeling guys get when they see girls standing at 5" tall)

First of all most tall women are turned off by shorter man.why is it that taller women get mad when guys are turned off by them? Sorry but maybe taller women shouldn't de so picky.

I prefer a taller woman. It doesn't intimidate at all my masculinity to be with a taller woman. It doesn't make me feel less a man being in a relationship with a taller woman. Don't feel left out, I want to date a taller woman.

First of all and most important, don't feel left out. Tall women are impressive to guys just because they don't have confidence in themselves, something you should never lose.

I think guys like to feel like the MAN in the relationship. When the woman they are with is bigger taller or stronger than them, it brings their insecurities out and it doesn't work.

That's not much of a height difference, 6 2 and 5 10. I don't understand. I think the men are afraid that one of their "superior traits" will be topped by women. But that's only one theory. If I wasn't married, I would date you!

men like the feeling of control and feeling superior tall women take all this away..but i dont mind tall women so long as` they are not 7'2"

My wife is 6 feet tall, and I am only about half an inch taller than she is.
