Ok, I have to start out by correcting Gabriel3791. First off, Disneyland isn't in the middle of L.A., it's in Anaheim. Second, the reason why Walt bought the property wasn't because there was "more to do, more to see, more attractions nearby, more places to eat, more places to sleep..." it was actually because there was NOTHING to do there, NOTHING to see, NO attractions nearby, NO places to eat, and NO places to sleep. He wanted an area that had just about NOTHING so he could create an entire Resort destination with his own things to do and see - his own attractions, his own restaurants, and his own resorts/hotels. Any other attractions and businesses popped up after Walt purchased the land.

Now, to answer your question, Walt Disney World is a much better place to vacation. If you're planning on just spending a day or two at a theme park, then Disneyland's fine because it's so small and there's not that much to do. But if you're planning on taking an actual vacation for a week or longer, defintely go to Walt Disney World. It's a lot larger than Disneyland and has a whole lot more to offer. Disneyland consists of two theme parks, a Downtown Disney District, and three hotels. Walt Disney World consists of four different theme parks, two water parks, Downtown Disney, over 25 different resort/hotel options on property, over 150 different dining options, and much more. I love Walt Disney World! It's my most favorite place. It's the number one vacation destination in the world, and I couldn't imagine vacationing anywhere else. It's absolutely amazing there!

Hope I could help! Have fun, whatever you choose!

Hey Jim,
I have been to both Disneyland in California and Disneyworld in Florida. Went to Disneyland once and Disneyworld 12 times.
Disneyland is small, maybe 1 square mile and it's right in the middle of friggin Los Angeles (first on my list of places NEVER to go back to). That's why Walt Disney bought 75 square miles in Florida to build Disneyworld. More to do, more to see, more attractions nearby, more places to eat, more places to sleep, more room everywhere and NO California freeways. The only bad thing is when they close the parks at night. If you leave when everyone leaves, that is a BAD idea because they all run out and get in their cars, vans, busses, SUV's, motorhomes, and drive about 1 mile and then it's total GRIDLOCK for 90 minutes, but you can avoid all that by leaving 1/2 hour before closing.

properly one is not extra advantageous than the different they're purely different. With Disney Land you have a variety of of rides that little infants might rejoice with so in case you have little infants i might propose Disney Land. Disney international has extra rollercostars and issues that older teenagers and adults might like. wish this facilitates
