Well what can you know? I mean can you really know anything? I mean can you know that you are real. 100% sure? I mean how can you really know? Its called epistomology.
When you say you believe in something that can by the same as saying you know something. You can say I believe that evolution is how the world began. Many proffessors will use such language. Well what is he saying? He is saying tha the knows. Now just becasue I believe in God and I believe in the Bible and Jesus. Does not mean I came to believe without evidence and reasoning!
Plus, even when you know something you continue questioning it to build a deeper and more solid knowledge. Ever heard of the scientific method?

The better way is to find out what is true, and stick to that. Jesus said that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Not that He only knows the truth. He said that He IS the Truth.

It means it's unproven, for any of a number of reasons. I believe I can pass my certification exams. Does that mean I won't pass them?

Faith and belief are only necessary in the absence of knowledge. Those who claim to know through belief or faith are deluding themselves.
