Jehovah's Witnesses would go from door-to-door even if there were no hope that anyone would change their religion, or even if no one would listen to them! They have done so for decades even in lands where it is technically or actually illegal to do so.
That is because Jesus Christ specifically assigned the house-to-house ministry to the Christian congregation, with no regard for specific results.
(Luke 10:1,2) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos in advance of him into every city and place to which he himself was going to come. 2 Then he began to say to them: “The harvest, indeed, is great, but the workers are few. Therefore beg the Master of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.
Jehovah's Witnesses are trained to direct attention to the bible, and move on when their message is unwanted. Since each congregation in the United States tries to call at every home in its territory at least twice each year, there is strong motivation for them to move on where little interest is shown. Also, the Scriptures help the Witnesses to expect little interest from most:
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching ...and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

Jehovah's Witnesses reject traditional Christian doctrines such as the Trinity, eternal torment in hell and the immortality of the soul.
In the early 1870s, Russell organized a Bible study group of Second Adventists in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. An interest in Bible prophecy was sparked, in part, by Jonas Wendell. In 1876, Russell met Nelson H. Barbour and subsequently adopted Barbour's eschatology. Barbour had predicted a visible return of Christ for 1873, and when that failed to occur, he revised the prediction to 1874. Soon after the second disappointment, Barbour's group decided Christ had returned invisibly to Earth in 1874. They differed from most Second Adventists by teaching that all humankind descending from Adam would be given a chance to live in a paradise on Earth. The year 1914 was seen as the final end, marking a forty-year period from 1874.
A number of doctrines of Jehovah's Witnesses differ from that of mainstream Christianity. Possibly the most controversial doctrinal differences relate to the nature of God and of Jesus, particularly the Jehovah's Witnesses' rejection of the Trinity doctrine. Other differences involve their beliefs concerning death and judgment. Many of these doctrines are considered heresy by mainstream Christian denominations and, as a result, many label Jehovah's Witnesses as a cult.

No, I don't think people should be taught or encouraged that JC is the son of G-d, because not everyone believes that. Chrstians do, and who gives them a right to govern the world and tell everybody what to believe? Jews don't go knocking on their doors telling them that idolatry is a sin and they should repent or go to Gehenna: because Jews recognize that people have a right to their religious beliefs. Who are you to say which faith and right and which is wrong? How pompous of you. And who is a "lower class" than you? I know plenty of people that may seem lower class to you, but they have more respect for people than can ever get through YOUR head, so who is the lower class one?
Judaism knew all about loving ones brother wayyy before JC. Ever heard of Rabbi Hillel? Yeah, many of JC's teachings were based off of his. JC's "love your neighbor as yourself" was actually from Hillel's "that which is hateful to you, do not to your fellow man"
You wouldn't want someone coming to your house, knocking on your door and telling you that you are going to hell if you don't change your religion, would you? Listen to your man, and don't do it to other people. THAT'S being Jsus like.

Hello ! After Jesus rose from the dead what did he tell his deciples ? He said man should now walk on faith alone and he told hie deciples to spread the word about Jesus. We are all part of gods plan many will believe many will refuse him and go to hell. The reason why you and me are still here is because he needs us to spread the word about jesus. You have to be very carefull there are many people that satan will use to confuse you not all Jehova witnesses believe in Jesus is in fact god some believe you have to do good things to go to heaven . Well my frien NOT TRUE !!! Those are not my words those are gods words . Salvation comes through believing Jesus died on the cross for our sins and Salvation is done you will go to heaven ! Of course wethen need to live by the bible do good things to others and be obedient , but we only people and god knows that , but when it comes down to Jesus let's not make up stories it's to simple ( John 3.; 16 )you can not ad to Salvation by going door to door. It's like saying what Jesus did on the cross was not good enough. Yes , we need to tell others about Jesus again thats why we are still here but we can't judge people who do not believe or are different, that is not gods plan. Remember what Jesus said we ( Believers ) are the Church not a building . We people are the body of Christ his temple according to the scripture and yes we do not know how much time we have left on this earth so we need to live every day like it could be our last day here and bring others to Jesus. What do you think will happen to people who never received Jesus ther ewill come a time on this world and it's going to be to late . As real sa heaven is so is hell and do we want people to go there ? No of course not so let,s spread the gospel the way Jesus had asked his Deciples to do but you do not have to go door to door you are his temple remember you can be at Walmart or a Gasstation and wittness. It does not matter just always make sure you use scripture not worldy things and you are on your way . See you in heaven one day my friend and brother in Christ ( Don't forget it,s BELIEVE + NOTHING )God bless , In his name , Nicole : o )

Well, for some it does help them. I mean those Watchtower and Awake magazines fit wonderfully at the bottom of a bird cage, thus saving he person from having to purchase bedding for their birds. Otherwise, the magazines are completely useless unless you use them instead of fire starters to start your fire place fire. I bet, if I really thought about it, I could come up with several uses for these maybe not so useless magazines. But the magazines will not put food in the mouths of the poor, nor clothes on their back. The JW's are so two faced, they love to quote faith without works is dead and yet they do not as they preach, 14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. NA, just give them a Watchtower magazine that would be better for them, Right? Edit ------------------------------ Look at "teller of truths" answer, it completely endorses just as you say. It completely ignores what the Bible says of their physical needs in James 2:16 then their fruits and as dirty rags, filthy rags and God will not know them. Give them food, give them drink, give them clothes and give them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He taught about the Kingdom, but only very little. Jesus spoke with them to bring them back to God, to salvation. He spoke how they could obtain salvation and their mistakes. If they want to help them give them the things they need, food, water, clothes and a Bible, not a Watchtower magazine but a rel Bible....

First of all the reason the Jov. Wits.are so persistant is because they think it will get them to heaven. Sad. Well I do think it is our jobs as Christians to spread the good news. Many have died in His name for the cause of one to be saved in other countries. I do think that ever body should have the opportunity to hear the truth and than make their own decisions. I believe once someone hears the truth than the anointing can carry them through to faith to grow. Sometime all you can do is plant a seed.

I am not sure that I understand your question. The same low attitude about JW's that there is in the US should be world wide. The members are deceived by the false prophets in headquarters and God has forbidden us to listen to them.
You ask if they should be taught about Christ? ABSOLUTELY!!!!!

I have had lots of fun in the past with Jehovah's. I can usually turn them into babbling idiots by showing them where they have got it wrong and where they misinterpret scripture.
.
I have also had respect for them in their zeal for their cause.
If we all had such zeal the world would be a better place.
Regards
