It has long intrigued me that the Italians are such an enigma. The seat of Catholicism is in Rome, and catholics have done more to spread the gospel than any other branch of christianity. These same people produced the mafia and fascism. Go figure.

I guess it wouldn't have fit in with your little agenda, whatever it might be, to point out all the great Italian artists, scientists, explorers, composers and other cultural pioneers who were also Catholic.

It is not enough to be a Catholic outwardly. I fail to understand how their minds reconciled the fact that God clearly commands us not to kill people, yet many of them did do just that
