Yes you should....I will tell you secret about all guys all ages all the time...WE ARE CLUELESS...Don't make it a date or anything sappy like a girly movie or something he will hate...but instead just say...'hey what are you doing after school today, or me and my friends are going to the mall later do you want to come with me?" note say 'me' and not 'we' big difference...don't be afraid or shy...just pretend hes a good friend of yours or just some other girl lol and it will be easier
If he says yes..then good job and get to know this guy if he says no dont give up just yet..say 'ok maybe some other time' and keep asking him every now and again..but if he always says no or comes up with some lame excuse all the time..then find another guy....but never never tell him ' o i love you so much..i think about you all the time'....you will run him out of town if you do that lol hahaha trust me lol
but dont always wait for us guys to ask...keep us in line and ask first..i'm pretty sure he's clueless like the rest of us lol

I think you should enjoy yourself while being single! Believe me I started dating way to early, I'm in college now and can see that it would have been a lot more fun if I would have stayed single! At this age everyone wants to rush into these kind of things. Don't do it, trust me! The thing about doing this at your age is that if you REALLY like him, and you go out with him, you will lose him as a friend after the break up. I went out with a really cool buddy of mine last year, and we haven't talked since... You will lose a lot of really good friends for a silly holding hands thing that lasts for about a week
