Haha, yes it is! Those silly astrophysicists. One day we'll look back and have a good laugh.

Only if you accept the truth in that it is the embrace of the almighty's noodly appendage. It's only logical after all, while we have evidence for all other forces we have no messenger particles for gravity. This must mean that an omnipotent being is really responsible for all gravity everywhere.

Of course. Just like evolution. At least that's what the fundamentalists tell me...
Expect the push to "teach the controversy" when the fundamentalists try to get "intelligent falling" into classrooms.
NOTE: The above, for the sarcasm impaired, is SARCASM.
EDIT: Ape Ape Man linked to the article the "intelligent falling" above refers to if you didn't get the joke.

I would say no, but....You do have faith in it, it is a "higher power" to a degree, we don't have power over it, except for flying, etc. We have built our lives around it, to a degree. We don't worship it, or pray to it though. There is no god, and you cannot convert to it. It just is part of all of us. No prophets, or holy books. Funny question though, lol. still, answer is no, not a religion.

If gravity is a religion does that make a black hole god?
Great question! :-)

No, it's a force.
Unless you are deeply into "May the Force be with you", then you can consider it a religion.... ;)
Won't get you anywhere though...

I pray to gravity every night, in fact.
"Thank you, oh powerful gravity, for embracing me with your gentle yet powerful being. You keep me grounded.... no, literally, you keep me grounded. Praise be to thee!"
