Like, once most people acquire knowledge and intelligence...do they realize it's all kind of silly?

Or will you find people from all walks of life (doctors, lawyers, cowboys, janitors, etc..) practicing religion?

People from all walks of life practive religion. But I.Q. and educational attainment are negatively correlated with religiosity. When I was a kid, I used to think religion held some sort of ultimate truth about our existence. Once I grew up, I came to see religion merely as didactic stories that aren't meant to be taken literally. And I really don't understand how an intellectually mature person can see religion as absolute truth, but many do.

You will find people from all walks of life who worship God, and who have been saved through the Grace obtained by Christ's death on the cross. They have a personal relationship with Him.
Than is not the same as religion.
Religion is something man made, and can have it's good aspects, but, in the long run, is a fallible as man.
