I am worried that your kitty may have opened the incision.Do not soak her feet in anything.Does she have an e-collar?If she does, you may want to put it on her for the evening.she might have been licking her feet or irritating the incision.Take her into your vet tomorrow for a re-check.De-claws are quite painful and difficult to monitor post-surgically.Good call on changing her litter back...Good luck!!NEVER USE PEROXIDE! It kills all of the good and bad germs and is really completely useless for anything other than cleaning blood off of your clothing. Also, do NOT put neosporin on it.Also a useless thing for animals and it can be toxic to them.

Back in the day, people used shredded newspaper and regular old dirt for kitty litter. Try newspaper, its softer. To clean her little paws, hold her belly-up, and gently clean them out with peroxide on a cotton ball or q-tip. It won't hurt her and it will clean out any chance of infection. Then apply some Neosporin. Cats can lick it off and not get sick.

The same thing happened to my G-ma's cat after I took her to get completely declawed. I called the vet, and he told us to run warm water OVER the paws, do not SOAK them, and then gently use a pair of tweezers to dislodge the litter. NO PEROXIDE, NO OINTMENT, ETC...... We put her back in just newspaper torn up for litter, and in 2 weeks, she was good as new.

you can try a warm washcloth, or if she'll let you soak her paws in a luke warm pan. this will help dislodge any litter still in the incision. also watch for swelling and if the bleeding continues call your vet. good luck. don't pick at it too much as it might irritate the area more. i would try the soaking first.

If she will let you hold her....take a CLEAN warm washcloth & try to moisten the litter to wipe it off. Be very gentle! :)
You may also want to call your vet for a follow up, just to be safe!

I'm very sorry to hear you had your cat declawed - the poor kitty must be in terrible pain and will never be the same again. It's a shame declawing is not illegal all over the world, (just in some countries).
