To tell, or not to tell?

Question

I've been friends with a girl for about 4 years now, and while she has liked me a few times over the course of our friendship, I've never felt the same way back. Well, that is until more recently...I've finally come to the realization that this girl is perfect for me and that I have feelings for her, but wouldn't you know it my timing was WAY off. She has a boyfriend that she's been seeing for almost a year now, and they're currently doing the long distance thing.

Despite the boyfriend I still feel like I should tell her that I like her. In the past when I've liked friends I've always just kept it secret for fear of ruining the friendship. I know she doesn't like me back and she has this boyfriend fellow, but I still feel that she should know what I'm feeling.

What should I do? I leave for school - a few hours away - in just a couple of days and this is my last chance to tell her face to face for a while. To tell, or not to tell......?

the only way to fail is to not try. whats the worst she'll say? she doesn't like you back...?

you wont know unless you try.

what if she ends up liking you, too but you never had the courage to talk to her before you left. you never know what could happen.

u shd tell. if u dont nothing will ever come of it, and at least ur being honest and giving her a chance to say anything she wants 2 say. nothing bad ever came out of being honest. the worst that could happen is she doesnt like u back. but thats better than wats going on now at least ukno. and if she breaks up wit her bf ur always a possibility ;) good luck!
