Okay, so recently, i've been really cautious around the house. i have this fear that someone will try to kill me in some bizarre way. like in the horror movies. but its only when im in my own home.

i would also like to know if this is some type of phase or something, and if it will go away because i've never been like this before.

Your age might have a lot to do with it. No offense btw. Its simply a phase that all of us go through several times in our lives. Its the fear of death more or less. You're feeling vulnerable for some reason and you need to figure out why you're feeling insecure in your home. Has there been recent violent activity in your part of town? Have you lost a roommate? Or just moved out on your own? There is nothing wrong with providing a safe environment for yourself i.e security system, but decide whats really going on around you to get the answer to your question.

Yes. It can be the result of life without Christ. If you trust on the lord all your fears will vanish. Try prying to Jesus and trust in his word. After all he did conquer Satan with his own weapon - death.
