It depends on how you define "happy" if he has a domineering wife.....

and you can say that the telemarketers call "housewives" because they have a better chance of being bored and dying to talk to someone, therefore, more a chance to hook them in on a scam.

Who insists on men being the head of household? Have you ever read your taxes? it depends on who has the heavier financial burden.

You are wrong about a husband who fears his wife has a better chance of a happy marriage. Women need to respect their spouse and that is done by being a man and not a snivelling wimp

via the utmost kingdom i've got faith you recommend the Celestial kingdom. There are additionally the Terrestrial and the Telestial kingdoms. i do no longer think marriage is even a call for to realize the Celestial kingdom. So there will be loads of unmarried women and men human beings in the Celestial kingdom. there will be loads of fellows who're married to purely one spouse. there will be some men who've greater beneficial than one spouse. i'm hoping a number of my ancestors who practiced plural marriage could additionally be there. i understand they tried to stay a good life and in actual fact enjoyed and enjoyed their better halves. there will be some men there who married in the temple, and that spouse died, after which married yet another woman in the temple, and the two women human beings would be married to him in the Celestial kingdom. All people who inherit the Celestial kingdom will gain this because of the fact they found out to obey all Celestial regulations. All people who be taught to obey Celestial regulations will inherit the Celestial kingdom. Now, as you element out, the form of married women human beings will exceed the form of married men in the Celestial kingdom, yet that would not recommend that the form of ladies human beings will exceed the form of fellows in the Celestial kingdom. we've an concept that married women and men human beings could have the skill to have infants and could consequently have a different place in the Celestial kingdom than the singles. It stands to reason that there will be greater opportunities and advantages for the married individuals. Why will greater women human beings than men be exalted and characteristic those advantages? i do no longer understand, different than to assert that greater women human beings than men could have lived worth of it, and stored the covenants linked with those advantages.

where'd you get those statistics?

and from what I know of the Bible....

1) Women are supposed to submit to their husbands, but the HUSBANDS were commanded to love their wives: Love is patient, love is kind, it is slow to anger, love does not boast, it does not envy...etc. But yes, wives have to love their husbands too.

2) That tradition was brought about as Eve was the first to sin, so "I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you shall give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he shall rule over you."

3) should a marriage be based on fear? If the husband and wife love eachother, they should not have to worry about "he/she will hurt me".

Now my thoughts....
"better" is a matter of opinion and experience. Those statistics are most likely wrong, because if a family is raised the was God designed it, there shouldn't be any need for the spouses to fear one another.

Man is a fallen creature. He fell from a higher state to the animal order of nature. That's why his home resembles the animal kingdom.
Most homes are Eden all over again: the man becomes subject to the woman instead of his God. He becomes weak. He abdicates his natural authority. The flow of life should be God to Christ to man to woman to children. But most men cave in to women because they need her for selfish sensuality. How can he bite the hand that feeds his selfish ego? A man's home ruled by a woman is pure hell, and it's only a matter of time before she becomes a witch and he a wimp.

[When the mother's nature is dominant in the home the children become influenced by the spirit of the woman...and that's why we have homosexuality spreading like cancer today.]

"What time is it daddy?" "Oh, I don't know, you'll have to ask your mother"

"Would you like to buy a vaccuum cleaner?" "Oh, I'll have to ask my wife's permission, hold on."

I know that a big part of it came from the mistranslation of the Hebrew wording of the story of Adam and Eve. In the Jewish version, Eve was made from Adam's side and therefore equal to him. In the Xtian version, Eve was made from his rib and therefore inferior. The churches have taken this to heart.

No woman can really ever submit to a man unless the man is first submitted to God.
