Curling Hair?

Can you curl staight hair with mouse,gel,or hairspray?

if you wash your hair then scrunch it and put mouse in it and dont brush it then it should turn out it works for me but *DONT* brush your hair after wards or it will be frizzy

Im a stylist and I would just like to say yes you can.. It all depends on your hair for example you can use all of those mouse, gel or hairspray but it all depends on how fine your hair is and what method of curling and for how long you wish it to last.

For Rollers: Gel lasts the longest but if your hair is fine warning dont use very much it doesnt take much.. overall spray with hairspray after to hold everything in place.
Curling Irons: Here you can use hairspray you take a strand spray it with the hairspray and then spirl curl assuming you want spirl thou if your not to experienced with a curler you could always spray it after it just holds the curl nicer if you do it first...

Try any or a combo of them. Start with mouse before you dry or curl your hair. then use the spray or gel when your done.

sometimes if its wet, or with a curling iron then you spray it with hairspray. it just depends on how straight your hair is, if it has some wave to it you can normally get it to turn somewhat curly when you use gel while its wet.

Products can help hold the curl, but you need a curling iron or rollers or something to make the curl in the first place.

mousse would work best if you are using heat curlers or an iron. Use the hairspray after to keep the curl in.

I would say the easiest to use is pomade its like a cream that holds. make sure your hair is wet and run some of the pomade through your hair, then turn your head to the side and scrunch.

If you have the money enjoy makes the best pomade

You can scrunch it when it is damp, but if your hair is straight, then you will not get curls, only a "scrunchie" look.

Use a curling iron and lots of hairpsray. and if you do scrunch.. Use aussie scrunch spray. it smells fantastic!

i had that same question about my pubes, so my bf suggested using really strong hair gel. it worked for the most part.
