This has been going around forever - the WD-40 people have a form letter that they send out to people claiming that the stuff fixes up their arthritis, saying that their product is sold as a mechanical lubricant only, no health benefits are claimed, and no health benefits have been documented.

I think that people who find arthritis relief from WD-40 would find just the same relief from any other volatile oil - eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil, etc.
