I discovered Religion on my own while in my mid 20's. Most of my childhood was spent as a non-believer. But I discovered Jesus Christ after College which gave birth to my spirituality.

Both of my parents were Christian so I was raised a Christian but I was not born a Christian. I didn't "Choose" to become a Christian until my 9th grade year in high school. I do not believe that you can be born from birth into a religion unless you are "born again." Later on in life as a choice.

I'm an agnostic atheist, which isn't a religion as such, but it's more or less what you mean, I think.
I came to that through reading and reflecting a great deal. I was born and raised Roman Catholic, but I split due to serious issues in theology and social teachings. I read a lot of philosophy and talked to a lot of people, and also kept a journal of philosophy for well over a year. I gave serious thought to what I did and didn't believe and why.

I had no religion when I was born, my family were "christians' but they never went to church or talked about God. They basically said they were "christians" because their parents were.
As I grew up I observed things and now I realized from the time I was 4-6 years old I was probably some form of buddhist, then after that I was pretty much atheist up until I turned 12 and started exploring Christianity.. I haven't looked back since.

I wasn't born and raised in mine. Where I live there are many many Mormons, and that is what my family has choose to be, BUT NOT ME !
I always knew they were wrong, they believe in a bunch of crazy stuff like they are going to be Gods of there own planets...WHAT IS THAT ! And they read from the book of Mormon "not" the Bible, whats wrong with that picture !
I set out to find a religion that went from the Bible & the Bible only. I found the Seventh-Day Adventists. They teach strictly from the Bible & the Bible only and use the Bible as there only Creed.
Its so refreshing to be apart of such a wonderful Church that don't have a bunch of non Bibical doctrines.
God Bless & keep the Faith !
Great Question..

I was raised Baptist, and am now Episcopalian, although I'm very interested and have the same beliefs as Catholics.
The way I came to this view was through my best friend in high school. She was catholic. I went to her church with her some of the time. After I grew up and wanted to become more religious, I studied many different religions and came to the conclusion that either the Catholic or Episcopal religions suit me best. I prefer Catholic, it's just that takes alot of time and a long time to go through RCIA, which officially converts one to that religion.

Well, I have been raised in the Church of Christ, and I don't know what I am right now. I still go to church because I love the people and, seeing as I still live with my family, it would cause too much of a rift not to go. I am trying to search out my own way and what I believe and not just go by my parents' ideas. We shall see what becomes of all of this. I like various ideas of all religions, but I haven't found one that is completely what I believe yet.

I was not raised into any religion. My parents chose not to brainwash me and let me make my own mind up. I refuse to believe in a god that would punish me for ridiculous things like having sex before marriage, or having 'impure' thoughts, or other such 'sins'. It's ludicrous! I am a good hearted, kind, caring person, I treat others with respect and love and that should be enough for any decent god, if there is one.

I was raised Roman Catholic, but like many, drifted away from it. At 10 I realized that I didn't really believe ANYTHING Catholic, or even remotely Christian. I've dabbled in a few religions since then and now I would consider myself a Secular Humanist.

No, I check out almost all of the main stream religions, some home grown and I prayed to know the truth, promised to dedicate my life if I found it. My prayers were answered the next afternoon. I studied the bible, and have been faithfully flowing Him ever since.

Nope. I was born and raised Presbyterian, until I was 9. I found my path through reading, research, and intuition, and finally found something that I find spiritually fulfilling.
