Does the amount of hair an individual have effect the possibility of blemishes?

I know that we are mammals and we all have hair all over, but I've noticed that people that are hairy-er than others tend to get more blemishes. I was just wondering since some zits can be caused by ingrown hair that is trapped beneath the skin.

That's true. But women who have more facial hair may also have a hormonal disorder like PCOS which will also cause them to have more facial hair, and blemishes
