That's what happened with me and my boyfriend just before we got back together. I don't know the guy you are talking about, but maybe he wants to get back together. I don't know, I'm just saying that's what happened with me and if you still like him and he really does like you ya'll will get back together.

Maybe he's acting as if you two never broke up, as sort of a "restart" point. Just talk to him about it.
