honestly this is the stupidest idea i have ever heard. what a waste of money. Why don't you invest that money in something worthwhile. You are gonna drop 6 or 7 grand on this car and all your gonna have is a mustang with 150,000 miles on it, hell you're wheels and tires are gonna be worth more than the car is. Buy a 60 inch plasma, or a down payment on a house. or a down payment on a new truck. You can do way better things with your cash than this.

first off, chances are youre going to be rubbing all over the place without some heavy modifications.
second, the guy on top has the right idea with that website
third, the better way to do this would either be to buy a car more suitable for that size rim, or get fender well modifications done to prevent rubbing.
based on the car this is being put on though, and the fact that the rims will prob be more expensive than the car, youre probably just going to end up with a badly done job of expensive componants, tackiness in its most true form. seriously. nothing says baller less than a bad attempt at making a clean ride. It would be much smarter, cheaper, and look better to get some well executed 20s (not that it is my taste though), than it would be to get some terribly put on 23s.
and just go buy a hoopty if you want to chunk some big rims on a car. theyre better suited for it, and the ride wont just be brutal like it will be in the stang.

You have two options: The cheap way, and the right way!
If you can afford 23 inch rims, you can afford the right way.
Go to chassistech.com for coil lift kits. Have a shop install these parts because of the spring tension. Afterwards, it is wise to get a 4 wheel alignment, or you'll be buying a lot of 23 inch rims!

you could put air shocks on and cut the fender openings
I would definitely bring it to a hot rod shop because you would be changing the suspension and the handling would be so far out of whack it would handle crappy the rear would be easy because you could put the air shocks on and cut out the openings and put wheel tubs in the trunk but the front is a bigger problem and cast and camber in the steering geometry is pretty critical

big wheels are for trucks use the money to make your car faster wheels always make the car look better but 20 inch wheels are just too much buy a set of drag lights or a good set of wield wheels then ride people will notice you i promise

Frankly I wouldn't. You will find the drive-ability affected if you do, and the speedometer will be off also.
