How to escape a person from smoking?

Iam telling about my father's friend. He is a smoker and he can't escape from smoking . Also he is not allowed to go for a counselling and to see a doctor.

Just buy him some vitamins to replenish his system
smoking destroys 2000 mgs of vitamin C per pack.
