Anyone out there met someone thru the internet? Did it work out?

Generally, I think this is a bad idea. I've seen it tank pretty awfully before. However, anything can work if you get lucky. Love is a crapshoot.

It depends on how REAL you are to eachother. It also helps to be friends before you consider anything else. Joel and I met on a singles site in October of 2000. We met face to face in June 2001. I moved to his town in December 2001. We married on October 12, 2002 and we now have two sons. It is hard work, like any relationship. We shared our experiences before we met and it helped to feel comfortable with eachother. I truly believe that in this day and age where sex is such a factor, that meeting online takes that factor away and allows you to get to know someone before you get intimate. We were lucky to find eachother! Good luck to you!

I've never done the internet dating thing but i know alot of people that have and some of them are even married now or engaged :)

we can it did for us very much so we started talking n august 2006 started dating n sepetmeber 2006 and got married n december 2006 best thing that has happened to us

met my boyfriend 28 mths ago online, yahoo personals, lol and been living with since one week after meeting in person.. so far so good .. :)
