Maybe it should. I think we are the only species that the earth and it's other inhabitants would be better off without. We may be cancer cells. We behave like it. Cancer grows for the sake of growth and does not realize it is slowly killing itself by killing it's host. Our hope is that we wake up to our nature and get control over ourselves. The USA is the leader in how to kill a planet.

Mother Earth is repairing itself of damages sustained from man-made carelessness. It's doing this difficult task so that it could sustain future generations.

When people suffer due to El Niino in one part of the world, you can be sure that El Nina is at the other side. When water rises in some parts of the world, you can be sure that other parts are without water. When forest fires rage in some countries, we can be sure that downpours are heavy in other coutries. The natural destruction is just part of the whole repair process.

People kill but it has nothing to do with the repairs, it's an independent action of Mother Earth's inhabitants.

I am sorry but I always look at this as a flea vs. dog contest, the earth is much older and powerful to even notice or care about us, and frankly the odds are as good that we will kill ourselves off first. A Super volcano, pole/axis shift, major plate shift (horizontal or vertical). Darwinism is about adapting to survive, when a species can't or won't it goes the way of the dinosaurs or neanderthals.
