Mirror neurons typically become active when a person consciously imitates an action of someone else, a process associated with learning. But they seem to play no role in yawn contagiousness, the researchers in the new study found. The cells are have no extra activity during contagious yawning compared with during other non-contagious facial movements, they observed.

OMG...yes! Just start yawning around people and pretty soon they're all doing it. Another good one to try is looking up. When in a room full of people, just start looking up at the ceiling and soon others will begin doing the same. LMAO

I think is just a reflex reaction to the stimulant(someone else yawning) Just mention "Lice" to someone who has been around a lice epidemic and they start scratching.
