My one year old son has a (singular...not spider veins) blood vessel that surfaced on his nose -about 2-5mm in diameter. He scratched it once and it bleed profusely. The urgent care doctor said that they did not want to remove the scab to look at the site and that it should heal.

It did heal but the surface vessel remained and last night (about 3 weeks after healing) it seems to have burst in the middle of the night.

My guess is this will keep happening unless properl treated. We currently do not have health insurance and while we are more than happy to pay for treatment I don't want to pay 150 for some doctor to tell me to wait for it to heal. Thanks

Get a bottle of Saline Nasal Mist from the grocery store, and some q-tips and swab the childs nose. This should do the trick
Get some camphor chapstick and rub under nose too.
