Thanks Betty boop. Of course you and I know that ASAP has always been an acronym for as soon as possible. We would just like to use it also for always say a prayer.

I did not know that. All these years I thought it meant As Soon As Possible. The next time someone says they need something ASAP I know it means to slow down and take the time to say a prayer. That is indeed good to know.

well.... I work in a lab. When someone needs blood ASAP, and if we stop to pray first ~ that's seconds taken away from saving someone's life.

I suppose it CAN mean that, but most people use ASAP to mean "as soon as possible." Never heard it used this way.
