I haven't flown in like 6 years, I have to pack for a flight anybody know the details of the new flight laws, ie if I pack my expensive hygeine products in my carryon security will throw them away, right.

So I'm looking for a quick rundown on the laws or a good link as google was not helpful.

Thanks All!!!

Note that these are for flights originating in the United States. If you're flying internationally, different airports have some different rules.

liquids: max 3 ounce capacity (not content!) containers inside quart (not gallon!) size ziplock bag.

whatever you can fit inside the bag is kosher, as long as you can close it. You have to take the ziplock out of your carry on and put it through the xray.

If you have a 4 oz deodorant or a 6 oz toothpaste tube (even if you have used half of it)...leave it home or kiss it goodbye.

Check the TSA website

the easiest thing to do is call the carrier you are flying with. I know things like that have to be in small bottles and tubes and in clear zip lock bags
