how is it that you can be the nicest guy in the world, but you never get a girlfriend, how is that you can be a total ****** but have like 15 relationships in two years!?!? are women attracted to jerks!?!?

And I am referring to the part where you say you are a really nice guy & don't have a girl. Not all guys are jerks, therefore, women can't be just attracted to jerks. :)

I don't think that anyone could fully answer that question..ever. I'm a woman and even I couldn't tell you why I fall for the asshole over the sweetest guy I know. I can try to tell you as much as I know though. My best friend is a guy and he is one of the greatest guys I've ever met (he is attracted to me by the way), he would jump in front of a train to save any of his friends. One of his friends is a complete asshole and is terribly conceited. Yet, I found myself dating the jerk rather than the nice guy. I think I did this because I like the nice guy to fall back on, he's my voice of reason and my shoulder to cry on when I need a man's perspective. I know that one day I'll look back on my college days and say that I should have gone with the good guy, but I think that in a way, I'm testing myself to see how strong I am. Like many other women, I strive to be strong and independent, and the way I build my strength is to hurt myself (not physically, but you know what I mean).
Be patient (and WHATEVER YOU DO, don't try to be that other guy, the one who won't call a girl back the next day or ever again for that matter). As good as that guy may look to you when he gets all the girls, he's not really happy, he's filling a need, a void. A few years down the road when he's been through a few divorces and is wondering why no woman will tolerate him for more than a month, you'll be the guy going home with the girl who finally realized that you were what she was looking for all along...

you dont want those kinds of girls If you are a nice guy than God has a nice girl for you.Women may be attracted to jerks but it takes a lady to appreciate a gentlemen you sound nice try and stay that way.Did you ever hear of the saying good things come to those who wait.Its true.how would you like to meet one of those women and get married and have kids and then find out she was bad then their would be a divorce and then you would meet the right one for you but then you would have to be constantly working and you could not be with your love because you would have to pay alimony

From experience, we like jerks because they have more self confidence than nice guys. Also they are less timid and most importantly, jerks will make a move while nice guys take really long to make a move. However, we may date jerks but we marry the nice guys.

OK< this is to all of the geeks and nice guys of the world. it's great to be nice or for geeks not to sure in the 1st place as to how to act toward girls or even get their attention. This is a great epidemic in our society because I think most of them so adorable
and can use this bit of advice and take it all the way to the bank.
***men need to be a little more manly*** not to much of any one thing that they are totally interested in. Girls like guys who are multifaceted (be into books, computors as well as hiking) Stand up tall, make decisions, show confidence even if it's not there. dressing u'r self a tad more manish not boyish, etc...includes the boy haircuts (go a tad GQ). although not necessarliy GQ so to speak but more of just manly-look at the magazines-look at the marlboro man. Don't forget the confidence, it makes the difference. hoped i helped a little. good luck.....

I don't know maybe you won't like my answer, but yes, women they like jerks. if you pay attention to women they love the guy who acts like play boy. I think the reason is their jealousy. If they know that you are with somebody else, they will try hard to have you.

My son says that women seem to be attracted to jerks. He wonders if there's something wrong with their psyche in that they like to be mistreated.
What did their mother do to them to ge this result?!

from a guys perspective, even though most men and woman brains say otherwise, yes, women tend to fall for jerks, just as men tend to fall for, er, women that are a BIT CHallenging. :)
